First date can be really awkward for many guys – the long silences, trying to think of things to talk about, trying to find out more about the girl, even deciding where to go. But to add to it, there is that all-important decision of whether to kiss your girl at the end of it all.

Whether you should take your chances with a kiss on your first date depends largely on how you feel the date went. But getting the kiss just right could really spark the chemistry, even if you don’t feel that the girl was all that impressed on the date. So if you are going to try for that kiss, make sure that you are well prepared!

If you have any doubts about your kissing ability, get some practise in. You can use the back of your hand or even a mirror to try and get that kiss just right. Whether or not you get to see that girl again after the first date could all lie on the success of the goodnight kiss. Below you will find some tips to really spark that chemistry with a sensuous kiss:

§         Relax when you are kissing otherwise your lips will become rigid. Let your mouth do all the work and make it as full and sensuous as you can. Sloppy kisses are not sensuous in any way, so avoid them at all costs!

§         Don’t drool during your kiss – it will simply put the girl off altogether and certainly won’t spark any chemistry.

§         Close your eyes and open your mouth. If you keep your mouth shut during the kiss, it will make the girl think that you don’t want to kiss her. An open mouth is essential for a sensual kiss.

§         If you plan to use your tongue on the first kiss, make sure you use it properly. Don’t shove it down her throat – be gently and teasing to make her want more.

§         Use your hands to hold her as you kiss. Don’t just let them hang limply at your sides – hold her waist, neck, face or circle them around her.

§         Don’t just lunge at her when it is time for the kiss. Take is slowly, start with a couple of gentle kisses and if she is receptive move in with the ultimate lingering kiss.

Always remember that your second date may depend upon the result of the kiss at the end of your first date. The perfect kiss can linger on a girl’s lips all night, and she’ll be dying to make that second date with you.
